Advisory services
ZC helps manufacturers and exporters meet the regulations that decide access to the EU market. We start from your products and your customers, work through each regulation, and deliver documents you can hand to an EU buyer or authority.
Three core services, from compliance to strategy
EU regulatory compliance
The legal obligations for getting a product into the EU market, handled through to filing and inspection readiness.
Deliverables Role determination, technical documentation, declarations of conformity, registrations and filings
Sustainability reporting
Turning scattered ESG data into reports that European customers and investors can read and verify.
Deliverables Sustainability report, materiality assessment, data inventory
Sustainability strategy
Turning regulatory requirements into product design, procurement and operating decisions, so the cost of compliance becomes an advantage.
Deliverables Strategy roadmap, priority matrix, annual action plan
By regulation
Product and market level: pre-market documentation and EU entities
Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR)
PPWR replaces the Packaging Directive with a directly applicable regulation covering all packaging placed on the EU market, product and transport packaging alike, with manufacturers and importers responsible for demonstrating conformity.
Read more → EPRExtended Producer Responsibility (EPR) registration
Packaging, electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and batteries require producer registration, reporting and fees in every Member State where they are sold. Sellers without an EU entity usually need an authorised representative to register.
Read more → EUBREU Battery Regulation (EUBR)
Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 covers every battery placed on the EU market and the products that contain them: labelling, removability, carbon footprint, the battery passport and supply-chain due diligence, with a Dutch or other EU authorised representative required for non-EU manufacturers.

Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM)
CBAM entered its definitive period on 1 January 2026: EU importers of covered goods must become authorised declarants and pay for embedded emissions through CBAM certificates. The quality of the data non-EU producers provide drives the cost.
Read more → EUDREU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)
EUDR requires covered commodities and derived products to be deforestation-free, legally produced and covered by a due-diligence statement before they can be placed on the EU market. Because it covers wood, rubber and paper, its reach goes far beyond agriculture.

One due-diligence system that answers the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, the Forced Labour Regulation and the audits your EU customers run.

Certification and long-term support
Certification and rating support (ISO · EcoVadis · CE)
EU customers often ask for a certificate or a rating as evidence. We build the system and the documentation so the audit or assessment goes smoothly. Certificates are issued by independent bodies; ZC does not certify.
